The dress style is cute but runs small. I usually wear a 4, and I found the 6 to be skin tight to the point of being unflattering (ie every lump and bump shows). I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 32B. I didn't order the 8 because then i would have had to get alterations to make the straps shorter and probably the overall length adjusted as well.This is a well made dress but it’s sized wrong the size 12 was more like an 8 or 10 .Color was vibrant and nice. The material was thick and ideal for a cocktail dress. But the fit was wrong. Way to tight in the chest and way to loose in the waist down.I love this dress! I had rented it in several colors and had to buy it. The material is great quality, easy to move, sit and dance in. I would size down one size from your normal dress size.This dress it sooo perfect! I am 5'1 so it was a little long at me (about mid calf) but I got it hemmed up about an inch and a half to the back of my knee and its beautiful!I’m usually at 4. 4 was too tight. 6 was just right. Simple and elegant. Fabric is super thick. Love the color and how it looks.I’m a true size 8 and I couldn’t even pull this dress down it’s too tightI returned it and would have to get a 12 probably just so it would fit but then the bust would be way too loose. They cut this dress weird ?I have a likely dress in a size 6. Fits great. But this dress was too tight.
